Fall NYC Travel Oktoberfest

Tackle Oktoberfest In NYC Like A Pro

Oktoberfest In NYC is the ultimate fall activity when you’re balling on a budget. From drinking to celebrating fall, and enjoying the great weather, there is always a reason to get outside with your homies this Oktoberfest season. Now you don’t need to go to Germany in particular to experience this cultural phenomenon. Yes, we know we cannot book flights to Germany right now, sis needs to save her money, but we can pretend we’re living our true Oktoberfest fantasies. With that said, I’ll break down Oktoberfest here in NYC with all the details, experiences & even some outfit inspo to add to your cart and feel your very best.

The Run Down

Before you worry about prices, it’s completely FREE to attend. All you need to do is reserve a spot and come ready to chug! My guess is to make sure that they aren’t over capacity which is great considering the crowds recently in NYC can be a lot. Upon arriving, they honestly don’t check your reservation so even if you don’t have one, I think you will be okay. In terms of food & drinks, I got the Hofbräu Oktoberfest & Radeberger. The Hofbräu Oktoberfest is a darker ale that’s a little strong at first but once you have the first one you acquire a taste for it. I personally liked the Radeberger better. It’s a lighter ale that goes down smoother but of course, pick your potion. We also got the jumbo soft pretzel that tasted DELICIOUS. There was this mustardy dill sauce (if you go it’s the light pink one) that tasted AMAZING. I’d honestly go back just to get the pretzel- it was that good.

My Experience

It’s honestly an experience I cannot forget. I truly believe that wherever you are, as long as you are with the right people, it’s going to be so much fun, so could you imagine if you are with the right people AND at an amazing event- like come on. Recipe for success! Truly appreciated the spacious venue and of course the service. Anywhere with a good view of the city always has my heart. If you’re considering spending your night at Oktoberfest, I wouldn’t second guess & just go for it- you’ll have the best time!

Shop The Look

We both know I wasn’t coming to this and NOT dressing up! Being extra is a part of my personality and honestly feeling festive added a little spice to the experience. Not everyone was dressed up it was just the workers and myself, but regardless, do what makes YOU happy! Right now the weather is PERFECT. I brought a jacket but I didn’t need to & depending on how the next few weeks turn out, hopefully, it will be the same experience!

There You Have It

If you had the chance to go, GOO!! It was so much fun & better yet if you want to go to the real deal, Oktoberfest in Germany is 10000% more extreme. For now, this was the look that I went with and maybe next year I’ll go one step further and get the whole outfit!
