Hello, travel besties! I am Veronica, the woman behind The Brooklynite Abroad. If you are new to my page, site, Instagram, and my podcast too, welcome. I am very excited to share my tours, adventures, trips, and stories in total with you.

Debo admitir que, no pienso hablaré todos mis episodios en español porque no hablo español bien. ¡Por supuesto, quiero probar y practicar mi español para mejorar mi fluencia, pero necesito mas tiempo, jajaja!

I must admit, I do not think I will speak in Spanish for all my episodes because I do not speak it well. Of course, I want to try and practice my Spanish to better my fluency, but I need more time, haha!

Primero, quiero hablar en español a pocos tiempos en este podcast porque tengo familia de Ecuador y Italia y amigos en España también que hablando español y quiero ellos para sentir cómodos con la lengua que ellos tienen fluencia en

First, I want to speak in Spanish a few times in this podcast because I have family from Ecuador and Italy and friends in Spain also that speak Spanish and I want them to feel comfortable with the language they have fluency in.

Si estáis en un situación similar a cual yo he experienciado y no había aprendido español bien en la escuela intermedio, instituto y también la universidad porque la sistema educativo era malo, especialmente cuando aprendiendo un lengua secundaría, aprovechar este podcasts para aprender y la lengua poco a poco, vale!

If you are in a situation similar to which I have experienced and had not learned Spanish well in middle school, high school, and also college because the educational system was bad, especially when learning a second language, take advantage of this podcast to learn and language little by little, okay!

Quiero dar gracias para mi familia en Ecuador, mis amigos en España, y también mis amigos de los Estados Unidos quien experienciamos de estudios en el extranjero en España en juntos por ayudarme con español. Aprendiendo español fue muy difícil para mi. Lloraba mucho durante mis experiencias para aprender, pero todos me ayudabas en las maneras diferentes y estoy muy agradecida por todo.

I wanted to give thanks to my family in Ecuador, my friends in Spain, and also my friends from the United States who experienced studying abroad in Spain together for helping me with Spanish. Learning Spanish was very difficult for me. I cried a lot during my learning experiences, but you all helped me in different ways and I am very grateful for everything.

Espero poder sentirme orgulloso de mí. Al tratar de hablar en español y saber que no estoy bien, estoy decidido a mejorar mi fluidez. En mi opinión, prefiero tratar de hablar español con muchos errores y solucionaría estos errores de no hablar nada!!

I hope I can make you proud of me. With trying to speak in Spanish and I know I’m not good, but I am determined to improve my fluency. In my opinion, I prefer trying to speak Spanish with many errors and would fix these errors of not speaking anything!!

Si tu eres escuchando a este podcast para aprender español y también tengas dudas sobre aprendiendo una otra lengua mas tarde en su vida, quiero que sepas que aprendí mas en dos meses en España que siete anos en las clases de escuela. De hecho, no es tu culpa, pero las escuelas por no tomando lo en serio. No es tarde para aprender algo nueva cosa!!

If you are listening to this podcast to learn Spanish and also have doubts about learning another language later in your life, I want you to know that I learned more in two months in Spain than seven years in school classes. In fact, it’s not your fault, but schools for not taking it seriously. It is not late to learn something!!

Quiero mostrar que es posible para aprender otra lengua. Cuando pensando sobre mis experiencias, exactamente dos anos pasados, no tengo fluidez nada! Pero después de sumergirme en la cultura con la música latino, específicamente reggaetón, los teles, las películas, libros, y también llamas con mi familia y amigos, siento mejor sobre mi fluidez en español y sabe que tu podrías también!

I want to show you that it is possible to learn another language. When thinking about my experiences, exactly two years ago, I had no fluency! But after immersing myself in the culture with Latin music, specifically reggaeton, the movies, the books, and you also call with my family and friends, I feel better about my fluency in Spanish and know that you could too!

Espero en episodios próximas que hablar sobre mis experiencias aprendiendo español y específicamente cual cosas ha me ayudaba. Creo en ti y pienso que nececites creer en tu propio también!

I hope in future episodes I would talk about my experiences learning Spanish and specifically what things have helped me. I believe in you and I think you need to believe in yourself too!
