Things To Do In Kew Gardens

One of the most underrated places to hang out is in Kew Gardens. Why you might ask? It’s too far of a commute and unknown for tourists to even bat an eye. For those looking to see just how NY locals live their lives, towns like this offer great insight. If you’re someone who also thinks the Statue of Liberty & Top of the Rock is overrated, Kew Gardens, like many neighboring towns, are hidden gems awaiting to be revealed.

Places to Eat + Go Out After

Did you know that Kew Gardens is also called “Crew Gardens” due to its proximity to both JFK & LGA airports? It’s the reason why this bar, Hangar, has an aviation theme with many drinks & dishes named after famous airports & towns in NYC.  They have a great drink & food selection with sports games, outdoor seating, hookah & DJS for a fun night out!

Technically, it’s not in Kew Gardens, but Don Tequilla is THE spot and only 5 minutes away. They have great music, great vibes, great energy. Enough TVs for you to comfortably watch the game, great dancing music, outdoor space & have I mentioned the drinks and food are delicious

Alba’s Deli: If you’re staying in this area, this is going to be the spot you check out for your everyday sandwiches, refreshments, and your little grocery store. Trust me, every time I travel somewhere, I always like to have a good deli nearby and this is one of them.

Places To Eat In Kew Gardens

My sister is probably the pickiest person on the planet and ate this down to the last crumb, yeah! Love’s Kitchen is so authentic with tasty food- there’s nothing to complain about here!

Dani’s House: the best pizza in Kew Gardens, enough said. There’s always a line outside the place even at 10 pm on a Monday! The Margherita slices are one of a kind and a must for visiting Kew Gardens.

Tikka: If you’re looking for an Indian spot, this is the one. From the sag paneer to the tikka masala, there’s something inviting about this spot. It’s a spot you’ll want to come to again & again.

Restaurants On My Bucket List

Even in my neighborhood, I am still on the hunt to discover new places, and here are a few I have to check out! La Sala, Austin Ale House, La Casa de Mariachi & Tu Casa

Oosha’s Hair Salon transformed my hair and brought it back to life. The stylists know exactly how to style your hair. It was at such an affordable price that you cannot beat especially in

When it comes to exploring Kew Gardens, this just about covers it. Kew Gardens is a local hidden gem to explore on your next trip to NYC. I just recently moved here and there’s no wonder why it’s a neighborhood on the rise. Check out its beauty and who knows, the next time you visit it could get as popular as Williamsburg.
